So there are many different theories on what “lifestlyle” portraiture really is. And I am not here to define it, but when I think of lifestyle portraiture I think about a natural setting, and normal everyday events in unposed ways. I think that there is value to posed images {for sure!} and I love to get families out there having fun and getting natural expressions out of them. But there is something about photographing a child just being a child that is just precious
I may be biased on this one as he is my little cousin/nephew (ok so he’s not both…that would be weird…he is my closest cousin’s (who I lived with in Banff) son, which would make him my cousin once removed or something weird like that, but my cousin says I am auntie Heather (which I love!) so in that capacity he’s my nephew) Lots of love for this kid thats for sureI love all of the images but giggle when I look at the second one I’d call it… “hey! where did everyone go?”
