Well I am not sure if I have used this photo of me already :) BUT i love it :) It was from my wedding, I was looking at my hubby (probably still “to be” at this point!) Actually lets do 10 random things about my wedding!! Photography by Judy of Elementz of Fotographie

ha_0447-copyAlright so here we go:

1. We got married at Domaine de Grand Pre vineyard.

they can seat up to 55 people in their restaurant (which if you haven’t eaten there you totally should) but can do weddings of up to 150 people in a tent on their property.

2. The boys and I all wore REEF flip flops.

3. We had Carrot Cake wedding cake, and ate it as dessert. It was just as tasty two years later when we ate the top tier with friends.

4. We had my wedding ring designed at James Bradshaw and I love it! Funny enough that many times when I notice other rings I really like on my couples they have had them designed by the same guy!

5. I had friends do the music and I am so glad that I did! They are very talented to start with but then to have the personal connection was huge too! Thanks again Justin, Britt & Ryan (none of whom I think read the blog but they deserve a shout out none the less!)

6. We had a candy buffet! It was tasty and color coordinated! And it may be something a lot of people do now, but I have never heard of anyone being dissapointed that there was one!

7. I surprised Alex with a song that I wrote and played for him that night. I haven’t really played the guitar since (but I plan to)

8. Three of our grandmothers were there with us on our wedding day. What an amazing blessing that was, especially now looking back when only one is with us now.

9. I really don’t like being the center of attention, and get embarrassed really easily so the thought of a big wedding made me queasy, so we had 55 people including us and our wedding party.

10. It was perfect. I think I may have said this before but the only thing that I can think that I would have changed would be the candle-holders, one small miscommunication and a white linen on the “head table” Nothing anyone else would have noticed for sure!
