Amanda & Stuart – A Beautiful DIY Wedding

Ok I know this is a lot of wedding blog posts in a week, but that’s what happens when you have three weddings in a weekend! James & Rachel, Jenn & Matt you’re on deck for next week!! So now to the Bride & Groom of this wedding! Amanda & Stuart are super down to earth and were a blast to photograph for their engagement session, so I knew that they would be great on their wedding day! The weather was PERFECT for their outdoor ceremony, and was great (albeit pretty hot…but I wasn’t about to complain!) for our pictures. There were many great things about this wedding, but the most impressive thing about the wedding by far was the THOUSANDS of origami animals, flowers, pinweels, light lanterns etc that the bride HAND FOLDED for the wedding. I have seen DIY before, and I have seen weddings where they hand did the flowers, and hand wrote place cards etc but I think that HANDS DOWN Amanda would have put in the most hours! The colours were beautiful, the day was wonderful and I am so happy to share this sneak peek from their day! The wedding was held at the beautiful Shining Waters Marina, a great facility that I have been to twice this year and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful pictures! You can see how much love there was on that day :) I love the fish-eye lens one in front of the old building, it has a lot of character.
