Ok… well maybe there wasn’t a war… unless we’re talking about firing off pocket wizards…

the cage was actually a birdcage veil…

and the bride was the beautiful miss Debbie who gracefully accepted our crazy excitement, and who forgave us (a few times) when we forgot her in the dark…

the challenge this time round was to capture the birdcage veil… so this post is focused on the birdcage, but another post will come soon with some really fun shots of us playing in the dark.

its been a great opportunity to try some new stuff…and I’m pretty happy with the results.

I love it!!! It makes me even more excited if that is possible for May! I think that they are beautiful and you did an amazing job capturing the beauty of the bride while still showcasing the veil… I want these shots for my wedding!!! Great job Heather.

Over the years I have really not been attracted to the traditions veil, and I could never really see myself actually wearing one in my own wedding (BUT they do look stunning on other brides, just not this bride-to-eventually-be). BUT, while in Toronto I did some *sneek peeking* around for dresses and I just happened to fall madly in LOVE with cage veils and I think they are absolutely stunning! These shots are amazing (no surprise there :) ) and I am so happy to see them showcased – they deserve it! Great job kiddo! xox

Looks great Heather. Always a pleasure to shoot with you.
