Well there is rain…and then there is sideways rain. Sideways rain with wind and thunder and lightening….and that was the Claire & Dane wedding day rain…right up until reception time! But their crew rocked it, even when it sounded like the thunder was gonna knock over the building we were in! Eventually we all had to run back to shelter in the midst of it and let me tell you they totally killed it! PS serious props to the most supportive bridesmaids ever…they were offering encouragement to each other…and to me…all day long! Oh and also, a little secret….I OFTEN cry at my weddings, but now that I am pregnant….I pretty much cry at ALL of my weddings! I made it through the ceremony, the speeches and many other beautiful moments but the oh so supportive bridesmaids caught me WEEPING during the father daughter dance! LOL they had a good laugh at my expense. The beautiful ceremony took place at Kings College and Reception at the beautiful Ashburn Golf Course, it was also my first time working with Chez who did an amazing job with the decor (and I am sure much more behind the scenes!) Congrats again Claire & Dane!!!
