Last night I met with one of my Mexico brides and got SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO excited about their wedding! It reminded me again how much fun and excitement (and maybe a few nerves!) surround each and every wedding day! I realized that I am still suffering a bit from winter wedding withdrawl so thought I would share a few more images from a sunny and warm Nova Scotian Wedding! This bride may be featured more than usual in this post because beside her beauty and STUNNING smile, she had an amazing AMAZING way of just being. At the end of the night I thanked Jamila for being so absolutely amazing. My grandmother had passed away the day before this wedding, and I honestly didn’t know how the day was going to go, I knew that this was one of the most important days in their lives and so I went in with the attitude that we were going to make it happen and that they wouldn’t be any the wiser (and they weren’t! go team!) WELL what a blessing that this couple were my couple for this day, thoughtful, warm, joyful, silly, funny, adventurous, laid back….just a few words about these two! I just realized it looks like the pic on the right just below would be the groom, its not, he’s feaured a bit further down!  BUT as you can see, the wedding party was a lot of fun too :) Thank you you guys for being YOU

Heather:
I’ve just seen this link through Jamila’s blog and have to forward my admiration not only for the beautiful job you did on Jamila and Phillip’s shoot, but also for the unbelievably professional way you dealt with the loss of your grandmother…I was heartbroken for you when I found out and completely astounded that you had kept it such a secret for the whole day…particularly when I made the reference to the death of Jamila’s own grandmother only two years before. My hat is off to you. Knowing full well “the joy that is Jamila,” I have to agree that you lucked out when getting those two for that particular day…even though I know my bias is obvious! The wedding pictures are beautiful. You did a great job. Many thanks from M-o-B.
