Jenn & Matt’s Oceanstone Wedding

I have soooo much I can say about this wedding! First of all the couple! So sweet and caring, and a blast to photograph. Up for pretty much anything and a wedding party that came along for the ride…on the school bus…wherever it did take us. It was funny that I did three weddings in the St. Margaret’s Bay/Peggy’s Cove area back to back, we used some of the same spots for a couple of the weddings and had fun exploring some new locals as well. It was pretty hot on this particular Saturday (believe me I am not complaining I love the sunshine!) but I waded into the water for a couple of shots and thought to myself  “I could dive right in here right now!” but then I had a little nibble (I think from a crab) on my toe, and I thought that was probably enough for that location!

I have to also mention a couple things when you are looking at the photos. I am a big advocate of the first look, but can understand why people don’t go for it…HOWEVER to those who say that they don’t think the moment when you come down the aisle will be special if you see each other first….check out Matt’s reaction of Jenn coming down the aisle after he had been with Jenn taking pictures for an hour and a half or so…that moment is still so real!!!

I also snuck into the cottage where I caught Matt & Jenn practicing their first dance while the cocktail reception was going on, I have to say I love when we get to capture moments like this!!!

And it was also the first time I had seen the parents get in on the action of dancing down the aisle. Jenn & Matt wanted their wedding to be a fun celebration for everyone and I’d say they get five gold stars for that one!
