Well I have decided that where photography is a huge part of my life that I should be sharing some pictures of my life on this blog, so in order to keep things fresh I’ll be taking my camera with me more often, taking more pictures just for fun (and for practice) and putting them on here so you can get to know me a bit better! Here are a couple of shots from the fire we had with a couple of friends a couple of weeks ago in our firepit :) LOL love how I am TOTALLY staring the camera down in the second shot, I think I thought the timer wasn’t working so I tried to look to see if the light was flashing!

By the way, I don’t really like roasted marshmallows, but I feel the need to eat them if they are available, part of the whole fire feel maybe??img_8713_small-copy

As I have said before…your photography has grown so much, and so have you! Your talent is unbelieveable and I am so very proud of you! I still can’t get over your photographs…they capture so much life out of everything you shoot…and hopefully one of these days I will be able to book you for either an engagement shoot OR a wedding shoot! :) Keep your head up chicky-poo, you are on your way! xoxox

Hi there Heather,
I’m hoping I win a photo shoot for my wife Aurelie. If you think this is weird, a guy checking out your blog and photos, no problem we are on dial up so we can’t see your photos unless we stay connected for, like all day. The white pages look really white though or are the photos of snow?

The reason you don’t like marshmallows is because they are meant to be sandwiched between cookies and lots of chocolate… then you’ll love them! On another note, Heather you are so talented!!

Agreed…always end up with too many marshmallows…ever do the trick where you roast it, pull off the outer layer, then roast, pull off that layer, repeat…and see how many times you can do that? Give it a try.

Another thought about always having a camera at the ready – is a bad picture better than no picture at all?

Loooooook into my eyes! haha

i absolutely love the blue color of the sky and the two random green spots in the trees that were lit up. so pretty :)

I loooove roasting marshmellows – too bad I always end up eating too many.

Hi Heather! I wanted to comment on the beautiful pics of Shannon and Mylah that you’ve taken over the last year or so… they turned out absolutley beautiful! You seem to be really great at this… I’ve moved back to Halifax and hope to have you do some pics for my family sometime! Hope all is well!

I’m gonna be the first to comment and be entered into that draw. You say you don’t take many pictures of your own life, i think I take too many of mine. I always have my camera with me.
